Configure Bria iPhone Edition VoIP Softphone for RingOffice Cloud Phone System

Configure Bria iPhone Edition VoIP Softphone for RingOffice Cloud Phone System quickly and easily using the step by step instructions below. Following the same instructions will also work if you want to configure Bria iPad Edition VoIP Softphone and Bria Android Edition VoIP Softphone for RingOffice Cloud Phone System. Although screen layouts and options may not be identical, the process will be quite similar.

These apps are very mature as they have been tried, tested and improved through many iterations over the years. Bria iPhone and iPad Edition VoIP Softphones are a great way to take your office with you. Once you setup your extension or line on Bria, you will be able to make and receive calls as if you were in your office.

To get started, go to the Apple App Store to get the Bria iPhone Edition – VoIP Softphone app.

Once you open the Bria app in your iPhone (or iPad), you should see the Add Account screen shown below. If you do not see this screen immediately upon opening Bria for the first time, then click the Settings icon on the bottom right of your screen, then select Accounts and then click + to add a new Account. You will then reach this screen:

Under “User-Defined Generic Accounts”, click on:  [SIP] VoIP (SIP) – Calling

You will see this screen:

Enter the following information:

Account Name: RingOffice (or any other name you care to assign)

USER DETAILS
Display as: enter anything here
Username: Auth ID provided by RingOffice
Password: Auth PW provided by RingOffice
Domain:  sip.ringoffice.com

Scroll down and set the voicemail shortcut, set the VM Number as  *98

Slide the Enabled button to the left to enable this new account and click on the Save button at the top right corner of the screen. This should take you back to the Accounts list where you should see a green checkbox beside the Account you created indicating that is is registered and ready for use.

Click on the Settings button on the top left corner of your screen to go  back to the Settings menu.

In the Bria Settings menu, click on Preferences. By default, Bria is set to only work when you have WiFi. Under Mobile Data Network, you can enable the “Allow VoIP Calls” option in order to use Bria Softphone without WiFi, i.e. on your 3G, 4G or LTE mobile data network.

Click on the Settings button on the top left corner of your screen to go  back to the Settings menu. Then click on the Phone icon on the bottom left of your screen to start using Bria iPhone Edition VoIP Softphone for RingOffice!
